Guided Tours of the Museum
A guided tour gives one an idea of the main exposition of the Museum and provides key information on the corrective-labor camp system. Participants have a chance to trace the development of the GULAG – from the prerequisites of its creation to its closure – and get to know the consequences of the mass repression in the USSR. During a guided tour, visitors see artifacts related to the lives of people who went through camps and prisons, died in incarcerated, were executed by shooting under fabricated sentences. Close attention is paid to the exhibit items discovered during the Museum's expeditions to former Soviet camps.
