The expedition of the GULAG History Museum and the Memory Fund to Magadan

The expedition of the GULAG History Museum and the Memory Fund to Magadan carried out in June 2019.
During the expedition, the museum staff collected the materials to create a VR film under the direction of Roman Romanov. The members of expedition filmed folk performances of Evens' songs, the city of Magadan from a bird's-eye view, Kolyma River, forests and hills, as well as the destroyed barracks of the camp “Dneprovsky”.
The VR-film will be presented at the exhibition dedicated to the history of the city, and then granted to the Magadan Museum.
In addition, the head of the GULAG History Museum and the Memory Fund Roman Romanov had a meeting with the Governor of Magadan Sergey Nosov.
During the meeting, they discussed the collaboration on the preservation of the remained former camps and mines.
